Gold Price Surpasses Rs. 300,000 Per Tola for the First Time Ever

On Friday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs. 1,346, reaching Rs. 300,046, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. This marks the first occasion in history that the gold price has exceeded the Rs. 300,000 per tola threshold.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs. 1,154, selling at Rs. 257,241 compared to the previous rate of Rs. 256,087. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose to Rs. 235,812 from Rs. 234,754.

Silver prices experienced an uptick as well. The per tola price of silver climbed by Rs. 51 to Rs. 3,378, while the price for 10 grams went up by Rs. 44 to Rs. 2,896.

In the international market, gold prices gained $10, moving from $2,859 to $2,869, as reported by the Association.
