
UAE Emerges as Leading Importer of Pakistani Mangoes
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has emerged as the largest importer of Pakistani mangoes, as per the Ministry of Commerce's report to the National Assembly.
Over the past five years, Pakistan exported mangoes worth $159.74 million to the UAE, making it the prime destination for this delectable fruit.
Other notable markets include the United Kingdom, which imports mangoes valued at $131.96 million, and Kazakhstan, which purchases $93.86 million.
Countries like Oman, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia have also significantly boosted Pakistan’s mango exports.
Overall, in the last five years, Pakistan has exported mangoes worth $632.003 million. Additionally, citrus fruit exports have shown progress, with $30.9 million earned in the current fiscal year.
