TOMCL Secures $7.5M Beef Export Deal with China, Elevating Pakistan’s Halal Food Profile
The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has announced a major milestone: confirmed export orders worth $7.5 million for cooked and frozen boneless beef to be shipped to China during the 2025–26 financial year.
This landmark deal positions TOMCL among the first Pakistani companies to export value-added halal beef to the Chinese market, reflecting its strategic pivot toward high-margin, processed meat products.
TOMCL emphasized that the orders meet China’s stringent sanitary and phytosanitary standards, underscoring its commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation. The company noted that rising demand for halal protein in China’s food service and retail sectors is driving new opportunities for Pakistani exporters.
The development aligns with the broader momentum of Pakistan-China trade relations under the CPEC framework, and is expected to significantly boost TOMCL’s export revenue outlook while reinforcing customer trust in its operational excellence.
TOMCL reaffirmed its dedication to expanding Pakistan’s footprint in global halal food markets through responsible sourcing and continuous product innovation.
