The Punjab Education Department is set to relaunch the e-transfer process for teachers shortly after Eid, focusing on the placement of over 1,200 educators who were recently promoted.

In Lahore alone, more than 50 teachers are awaiting new assignments, with their placements expected to be finalized in the first phase of the post-Eid transfers.

Once the adjustments for promoted teachers are completed, a second phase will commence in July, allowing eligible educators to apply for transfers based on open merit criteria.

Following this round, the Cabinet Committee will evaluate a rationalization plan aimed at distributing teaching staff more efficiently across schools in the province.
