Islamabad, August 25, 2025 — The National Highway Authority (NHA) has officially announced revised toll tax rates for the Islamabad–Lahore Motorway (M2), effective from August 26, 2025, through August 25, 2026.
Under the updated schedule:

This 10% annual increase aligns with the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) concession agreement signed in 2014 with Motorway Operations and Rehabilitation Engineering (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The agreement mandates yearly adjustments starting from the second year of operations.
🛣️ The toll revision comes amid broader fiscal measures, including a recent hike in vehicle token taxes approved by the federal cabinet.
