Instagram Introduces Major Upgrades for DMs, Now Live in Pakistan
Instagram has rolled out a significant update to its Direct Messages (DMs), enhancing features to rival top messaging platforms like iMessage.
Key Updates:

Music Integration: Users can now share 30-second previews of songs from Instagram’s audio catalog in both private and group chats via stickers.

Translation Support: A new translation system supports 99 languages. Simply press and hold any message, then select “Translate” to view the translation.

Pinned Messages: Users can now pin up to three messages (text, images, or Reels) at the top of any conversation. Just hold down the message and select “Pin”.

Message Scheduling: Schedule messages up to 29 days in advance by long-pressing the send button.

Group Chats via QR Codes: Create group chats easily by sharing QR codes.
While these features are now available globally on iOS and Android, desktop users will have to wait a bit longer for the update. The update is already available in Pakistan—just ensure your Instagram app is up-to-date from your app store.
