HBL P@SHA ICT Awards Return to Spotlight Pakistan’s Tech Excellence
Lahore, Sept 11, 2025 — Pakistan’s premier tech awards are back. The 21st HBL P@SHA ICT Awards, set for September 19, will honor the country’s top innovators across 10 core and 41 subcategories, including startups, e-commerce leaders, and major IT exporters.
Organized by P@SHA, the apex body for Pakistan’s IT and ITeS industry, the awards have been a catalyst for growth and global recognition for over two decades. This year’s ceremony will be graced by Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, as Chief Guest.
Chairman Sajjad Mustafa Syed emphasized the awards’ accessibility — free to apply and open to all, from students and women entrepreneurs to seasoned exporters. Winners will represent Pakistan at the Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2025 in Taiwan, building on last year’s success where Pakistan secured 10 APICTA wins.
With IT exports surging from $1.4B in FY20 to $3.8B in FY25, and a national goal of $15B by FY30, the awards reflect Pakistan’s rising global tech footprint. Achieving this vision will require consistent taxation policies, relaxed forex regulations, and stable investment frameworks.
