
Cement Sales Surge 30.1% YoY in July 2025 as Exports Hit Record High
Pakistan’s cement industry posted robust growth in July 2025, with total dispatches rising by 30.1% year-on-year (YoY) to 4.0 million tons — up from 3.1 million tons in July 2024. The surge follows post-Eid normalization and booming domestic and export demand.
Domestic & Export Breakdown:
- Local dispatches: 3.0 million tons (+18.4% YoY)
- North: 2.4 million tons (+12.3% YoY)
- South: 570,000 tons (+54.2% YoY)
- Exports: 1.0 million tons (+84.2% YoY)
- South: 776,000 tons (+73.2% YoY)
- North: 232,000 tons (+134.0% YoY)
Regional Trends:
- Southern region: Total dispatches soared by 64.6% YoY
- Northern region: Dispatches increased by 17.6% YoY
- Industry utilization: Averaged 57%, with 95% in the south and 47% in the north
