In Karachi, a 16-year-old student named Mahrukh has made history by developing Pakistan's first calculator in the Sindhi language using artificial intelligence (AI). This innovative project, completed in just three days, aims to significantly benefit Sindhi-speaking businesspersons.

Mahrukh explained that a large population in Sindh primarily understands and speaks Sindhi, making it challenging for them to utilize technology due to limited access to higher education. By designing a calculator that operates in Sindhi, she hopes to simplify financial calculations for Sindhi-speaking individuals.

The development of this AI-based calculator involved assistance from ChatGPT and other modern technologies. Mahrukh believes that if the government supports this project, the calculator could be extensively used for commercial purposes.

Studying at Rehman Allahwala School in Karachi, Mahrukh benefits from an education system that replaces traditional textbooks and pencils with smart devices and artificial intelligence. Here, students not only learn about modern technology but also receive opportunities to earn while studying.
