The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has confirmed its commitment to the tradition of issuing fresh banknotes ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr. To meet the demand, SBP has already released Rs. 27 billion in new currency through a network of 17,000 commercial bank branches nationwide.

The central bank has also implemented measures to guarantee uninterrupted ATM services and quality currency availability throughout the festive period.
