In February 2025, overseas Pakistanis sent home $3.1 billion in remittances, marking a 55% increase compared to February 2024's $2.3 billion, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). On a month-to-month basis, remittances rose by 4% from $3.0 billion in January 2025.

A breakdown of the inflows shows that Saudi Arabia led the way with $744 million, followed by the UAE ($652 million), the UK ($501 million), the EU ($340 million), and the US ($309 million).

For the first eight months of the fiscal year 2025, remittances grew by 32% year-on-year, reaching $24 billion, compared to $18.3 billion during the same period in the previous fiscal year.
