
Pakistan, Russia to Establish New Steel Mill in Karachi
Pakistan and Russia have reached a significant agreement to establish a new steel mill in Karachi, marking a crucial step in strengthening economic collaboration between the two nations.
During a meeting between Russian representative Denis Nazaroof and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Haroon Akhtar Khan, both sides engaged in extensive discussions about the development of Pakistan’s steel industry. A joint working group has been formed to oversee the project's implementation and ensure smooth progress.
Khan emphasized the Prime Minister’s commitment to attracting foreign investments, highlighting Pakistan’s growing reputation as a stable and promising business hub. He also encouraged Russian investors to explore further opportunities in the country, expressing optimism about the partnership’s potential to enhance industrial growth and economic prosperity.
