
Pakistan Gears Up for Mango Exports Starting May 25th
Following discussions with relevant stakeholders, the government has officially announced that mango exports for the 2025 season will commence on May 25th.
The Ministry of Commerce has released a circular confirming this start date, also stating that the current regulations outlined in the Export Policy Order will remain in effect.
Pakistan is a significant mango exporter, shipping approximately 130,000 metric tons annually. Last year, mango exports generated over $90 million in foreign exchange for the country.
Pakistani mangoes are popular in numerous international markets, including the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Iran, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
