
Lahore Safari Zoo Temporarily Closed for Maintenance in March
The Punjab Wildlife authorities have announced the temporary closure of Lahore Safari Zoo for 15 days, starting March 11, to undertake essential construction, annual repairs, and maintenance tasks.
A spokesperson from Punjab Wildlife and Parks stated that ongoing improvements are expected to be completed within the specified timeframe to ensure the zoo reopens before Eid.
In addition to the renovations, a thorough medical examination of all animals will be conducted to ensure their well-being.
During the closure, the administration will focus on providing optimal care and facilities for the animals. Authorities have emphasized the necessity of periodic upgrades to maintain a suitable environment for the animals and enhance the visitor experience.
Officials have assured that all necessary measures will be completed within two weeks, and the zoo will reopen in an improved condition for visitors.
