Lahore High Court Launches Live Streaming and Digital Attendance System

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has made significant strides in digitalizing the judicial system with new initiatives designed to enhance accessibility and transparency.

The court announced the introduction of live streaming for cause list proceedings through its mobile application and official website, allowing lawyers and litigants to monitor case developments in real-time.

Furthermore, the attendance system for court staff has been updated with a mobile application available on the Android Play Store, enabling staff to mark attendance digitally via location-based tracking.

An iOS version is expected to be released soon, and supervisory officers can now remotely monitor attendance records, ensuring more efficient management.

These upgrades, implemented by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the LHC IT Wing, aim to streamline court operations.

Chief Justice Alia Neelam highlighted the significance of integrating modern technology into the judicial system, noting that ongoing enhancements to the LHC app and website will continue to improve services for lawyers and litigants, making legal processes more efficient and accessible.
