
KP Launches ‘Khyber Pass’: Pakistan’s First QR-Based Digital Identity Platform
In a major leap toward e-governance, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced Khyber Pass, Pakistan’s first QR-enabled digital identity system. Officially unveiled by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur at the Chief Minister’s House, this unified platform is designed to streamline public service delivery by integrating with NADRA and other key government databases.
💡 What Is Khyber Pass?
Khyber Pass allows citizens to access services in healthcare, taxation, education, property, and licensing via a single digital account and QR code—eliminating the need to repeatedly submit documents or visit multiple government offices.

- Three services are currently live on the platform.
- The government plans full integration with all provincial offerings, including the Sehat Card program.
