Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Set to Launch in Pakistan

The automotive industry in Pakistan has been buzzing with activity in 2025, witnessing numerous new vehicle introductions within the first four months. Among the latest entries are models like the Kia Sportage L, GuGo Box EV, JAC T9 Hunter, MG HS Trophy, and Isuzu D-Max. Now, Hyundai is gearing up to make its mark with the anticipated launch of a hybrid Tucson variant.
Speculations about the Tucson Hybrid gained traction after it was spotted in Pakistan in December 2024. At the time, Hyundai Nishat Motors clarified that the vehicle was a private import and not part of its official plans. However, industry experts predicted that Hyundai might soon bring this hybrid model to compete with the recently launched Sportage L. The company has now confirmed its plans via social media, teasing the hybrid Tucson as a model with "unstoppable power" and "groundbreaking efficiency." This announcement indicates that an all-wheel-drive hybrid Tucson will soon enter the Pakistani market.
Although specific details are yet to be unveiled, insiders suggest that the Tucson Hybrid may include features like a globally available latest-generation design, all-wheel drive with terrain modes, a hybrid powertrain, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and a long-wheelbase version for enhanced cabin space. This launch could further intensify competition in the fuel-efficient SUV segment, providing Pakistani buyers with more innovative choices.
