Google Enhances Find My Device App with Real-Time People Tracking

Google has introduced a significant update to its Find My Device app, allowing users to track the real-time locations of friends and family who have shared their location. This feature builds upon the Android March feature drop and is gradually rolling out to users.

The app now combines device and people tracking in one platform, offering added convenience. A new "People" tab displays the locations of contacts sharing their location, while another tab manages location sharing settings. The interface mirrors Apple's Find My app, with a split-screen view showcasing a map and a list for easy navigation.

This update enhances the app's functionality, transforming it into a comprehensive hub for personal location sharing and device tracking.
