Engineer Suboohi Arif Innovates with AI to Boost Textile Industry

Suboohi Arif, an engineer from NED University, has developed an AI-driven system named IntelliInspect that aims to revolutionize Pakistan's textile industry. This system can identify defects such as broken threads, stains, and tears in real-time, ensuring higher-quality fabric production and reducing waste.

With an accuracy rate exceeding 90%, IntelliInspect can analyze raw and dyed fabrics in as little as 40 to 77 seconds. This efficiency can significantly reduce costs and increase profitability for manufacturers, with potential applications in garment production and automotive textiles.

Suboohi's innovation is particularly crucial for improving the quality of Pakistan's textile exports, and enhancing the reputation of Pakistani textiles in global markets. She is now seeking collaborations with industry experts and manufacturers to further implement IntelliInspect.

This advancement represents a step towards modernizing Pakistan's textile sector, promoting better production standards, and ensuring more competitive exports. Suboohi's work showcases a vision for a smarter and more sustainable future in the textile industry.
