The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has introduced "Salama," an innovative AI platform aimed at enhancing the efficiency of government services.

Launching at the Media Council

The announcement was made at the Fourth Annual Media Council under the theme “Media Vision Shaping the Future,” attended by top officials and media personalities.

Introducing 'Salama'

The Salama platform streamlines residency services, allowing users to manage residency tasks quickly and seamlessly, eliminating traditional paperwork.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri emphasized the role of digital technology in shaping Dubai’s future, focusing on redefining customer experiences and enhancing government performance.

Simplifying Residency Procedures

Designed for individuals, Salama simplifies visa-related processes:

  • Renew or cancel residency permits

  • Receive instant responses to visa inquiries

  • Complete transactions without visiting service centers

A Game-Changer for Government Services

Colonel Khalid bin Madia Al Falasi highlighted Salama's advanced AI algorithms, which personalize responses for fast and precise service delivery. The platform is expected to expand its services to corporate users in the future.

How to Use 'Salama'

Accessible via smart channels and UAE Pass, users can renew residency permits in seconds:

  • Log in via UAE Pass

  • AI retrieves user details

  • Select renewal option

  • Process request and payment

  • Receive renewed visa via email

Currently supporting 40+ languages, Salama aims to further streamline Dubai’s government services, providing a user-friendly experience for residents.
